Why don't I see the UCmore icon on my toolbar? If you have installed UCmore and do not see the icon, or you installed a new version of Internet Explorer and UCmore is no longer displayed, go to View > Toolbars and click on the UCmore option. If you don't see the UCmore toolbar listed, follow the instructions below.
How can I move the UCmore toolbar to a different location?Note: If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0, you must unlock the toolbars before you can move them. Right click on the toolbar and deselect the Lock the Toolbars option. You can change the location of UCmore on your browser by clicking and dragging the vertical separator bar to the left of the UCmore icon. Simply place UCmore in the desired location. This functionality enables you to place two toolbars on the same line if you want to conserve space in your browser. Please note that, as with all of the Internet Explorer browser toolbars, you can only move UCmore to locations on the top of your browser window. Toolbars can not be placed on the side or bottom of the browser window.
Why don't I see the UCmore toolbar listed in the Internet Explorer toolbars list? Some earlier builds of Internet Explorer 5.0 have a known problem with their toolbars. The UCmore Toolbar may be listed under the name 'Radio' (usually the second such listing). Go to View > Toolbars and click on the second Radio option.
Why does the UCmore icon appear in black and white? This means that the current site is not yet mapped into the PAE. Click here to get information on how to add a site to UCmore.
Why does the UCmore icon appear with a small "x" in its top left corner? This means that there is no connection to the UCmore server due to a network or server problem. This is usually a temporary situation and you should check back later. If you are still unable to view UCmore content, please send an email to support@ucmore.com and one of our representatives will contact you.
Why does the UCmore icon appear with a small speaker in its top left corner? This means that UCmore is disabled. UCmore has either been manually disabled by selecting Deactivate from the UCmore menu, or automatically disabled due to user inactivity.
Why does the UCmore icon appear with a small hand in its lower right corner? This means that UCmore is automatically switched to manual mode due to server maintenance. Select Activate from the UCmore menu to switch back to regular mode.
When I visit a website, sometimes categories appear and sometimes they don't. Why?First, check to see if you have selected the Deactivate option in. Click on the UCmore icon and click Activate. If UCmore is activated and no categories appear, check that your Internet connection is working properly. If you still don't see any categories, it may be that this is an unmapped site. It usually takes 1-3 weeks until a new site is added. We suggest that you check back later to see if categories are presented. If the situation continues, please email us at content@UCmore.com

I'm running Ad-aware and it detects UCmore as spyware. You claim it is not spyware. Who should I believe?Effective-i stands behind its guarantee that UCmore is not a spyware product. The openness of the web, which allows any individual or company to air their opinions, in this case results in false claims being made against UCmore. Because it's our word against theirs, we are unable to get these claims removed from the web. We repeat our statement that UCmore is not spyware! Read all about our privacy policy.
Why do some spyware products still have UCmore listed as one of the software/services that they would remove from a user's system?Effective-i has released a new unobtrusive version of UCmore in September 2003. This version has been cleared of spyware allegations by the key players in the industry. Downloads of our toolbar are opt-in (users must be aware they are installing the toolbar and approve installation), and no user IDs that would enable to track our users navigation are allocated. Our team has been working very hard to meet the standards of the spyware world. You can verify this by reading our file on Doxdesk published by Andrew Clover http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/UCmore.html. However, some spyware/adware products keep detecting old versions of UCmore. Those versions are not available for download any longer. If you are not sure of which version of UCmore you are currently using, we invite you to download the latest updated version of UCmore.
Do I need to pay for using UCmore? No. UCmore is free of charge.
How can I delete a category from the Favorites list?Right click on a category and select Delete. The category will no longer appear in the Favorites list.
When will you have UCmore for other platforms?Effective-i is currently looking into the feasibility of implementing UCmore for other platforms. Check our web site to get the latest updates.
Do you support MSN Explorer? At this time UCmore does not work with MSN Explorer.
I submitted my site to DMOZ (Directory Mozilla) a number of months ago. Why doesn't it appear in UCmore? It usually takes one to three weeks until it appears in UCmore.
