Status Icons and UCmore Button

The UCmore icon shown at the left of the toolbar has two uses. It changes its appearance to indicate the status of the toolbar, and when clicked, displays a frame with a description of the current page.

Status Icons

The UCmore icon changes its appearance to show the status of the toolbar. Following are the different status icons and their meanings.

Normal: UCmore is connected to the server and able to display categories.

Disabled: UCmore has been manually deactivated,and will not show categories and links until it is reactivated. To activate the toolbar, open the UCmore menu, select Settings, and check the box labeled UCmore toolbar is active.

No categories: The UCmore database has no relevant categories for the website you are visiting or the search you performed.

No connection: The toolbar could not connect to the UCmore server, and so cannot display categories and links. This may be due to a problem with your Internet connection or to a problem with the UCmore server.

Search Mode: UCmore is connected to the server and displays search results.

UCmore Button and Description Frame

While viewing a web page, click the UCmore icon to view its description and URL. The information is displayed as a narrow frame at the top of the page.

To remove the frame, press the remove link in its bottom-right corner.
